Of Coarse these aren't all the great movies and songs from the seventies. I limited it to what I'd seen or heard and liked. Anyway, if you have managed to spend your life so far without experiencing these fine examples of pop culture, I would advise you to find them now.

And the star is…

John Travolta
How better to symbolize the 70's then with John Travolta, the best remembered disco dancer of the time.
John Travolta was born in New Jersey in 1954. He went to the local high school as well as taking dance and singing lessons until age 16 at which point he dropped out and moved to New York. Five years later he made his big debut with two major hits of the 70's:
Saturday Night Fever (1977) and Grease (1978). Since then, Travolta has been in many other motion pictures such as Urban Cowboy (1980) and Look Who's Talking (1989). He is married to Kelly Preston and they have two children.

Then and Now:

"I don't know what it is Dad, but I can't throw it away until I find out."

"There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?"

"The tower, the tower! Rapunzel, Rapunzel!"

"You are my biggest fan!"

"You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, you sons of a silly person. I blow my nose at you, so-called "Arthur King," you and all your silly English

K-nig-hts."

"Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?"

"We are the Knights who say... NI!"

"Ever wish you could freeze frame a moment in your day, and look at it and say 'this is not my life?"

"It was a drive-by fruiting."

"So, are your kids well behaved or do they need like a couple of light slams every now and then?"

Hey guys! Welcome to my lair. It's mostly self-explanatory what with all the headings and stuff but here's a quick tour. Up here is my welcome message. Just below is the travel section. Under the second heading is my "pop culture" area so to speak, and off to the right are my quotes and the song of the week.

Travel
If I had a billion dollars and could go anywhere at the
drop of a hat this week I would be in…
Paris
Welcome to Paris! What better way to start out my cool little virtual journey then one of the most sought after travel locations in the world. While I'm in Paris, here are some places I definitely have to hit:

Bienvenue vers Paris ! Quelle meilleure manière de commencer hors de mon petit voyage virtuel frais puis un du plus cherché après des endroits de voyage dans le monde. Tandis que je suis à Paris, voici quelques endroits que je certainement dois frapper :

La Louvre: The Louvre Museum holds 35,000 works of art in over 60,000 square meters. Artists such as Da Vinci and Michelangelo grace the walls of the Louvre.

The Eiffel Tower: The Eiffel Tower was finished in 1889 celebrating the centenary of the French Revolution. The architect was Stephen Sauvestre. Since 1889, it has had over 200 million visitors.

Notre Dame: It took almost 200 years to build this cathedral for Pope Alexander III. This was mostly because of the immense size: 130 meters long with two 63-meter tall towers. Notre Dame holds some of the world's most famous gargoyles as well as the Gallery of the Kings.

Obviously there is much more to Paris then these famous landmarks. I wouldn't have a true tour of Paris without checking out the excellent coffee shops and shopping district.
